As a Fine Art photographer, I visualize shapes, patterns, and textures that most folks including less intuitive photographers may never notice. Nature provides an abundance of abstract photography subjects, as does the world in which mankind has created. Semi-abstract photography subjects come in all sorts of sizes from the grand landscape to intimate landscapes and even micro. I love to find these hidden patterns, textures, and colors and turn them into beautiful and interesting prints.
Abstract and semi-abstracts are similar. I find most of my semi-abstract prints to begin as an intimate, or small landscape. A full abstract tends to evolve from a special technique, or a "blur swipe" by using the camera to paint light.
