I made a point to revisit this stunning scene after the very first time I set eyes on it back in September of 2015 while photographing in Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park. I happened upon it by following the creek for many yards with hopes of finding a hidden series of pretty cascades to photograph. To my astonishment, the forest opened up to provide a grand view of Long's peak, lush creekside grasses, and a portion of Tyndall creek before it tumbles over a steep cliff.
That September day I first viewed the scene the lighting had become harsh and my autumn Colorado sessions were coming to an end. I feel rather fortunate to have experienced such wonderful lighting on the very first morning I revisited this gorgeous view after nearly 10 months.
The details in this print are amazing! A Large sized print will reveal blue wildflowers along the creek. The colors are rich and vivid. This is a print to be enjoyed as an Acrylic.
