Collectively, Maine's lighthouses just may be the most photogenic grouping of beacons anywhere on our planet. The Nubble light is likely the most photographed. Finding a unique perspective is a challenge to stand out from the crowd. I photographed this scene at dusk and timed it just right. The tide was aggressively moving in, and I had barely 60 seconds left of soft light on the lighthouse tower and keepers quarters.
I jumped out onto exposed granite boulders to find this beautiful inlet to use as a foreground. I barely had time to jump off the boulder before the incoming tide took control of me!
