Your Published Photograph - Good Life Report Hi Tom. Thanks so much for licensing the photograph to us at Good Life Report magazine! It really added great imagery to our article "Litchfield Hills" that really just cannot be described by words. Your portfolio is tremendous! Cheers!
~Whitney Cook. Editor "Good Life Report Magazine". 09/2010
Recent Photography Award I just read of your accomplishments (9-30-2010) including the AWARD you earned for the B&W "5 Skiffs" image, and the upcoming photo exhibit in Kent Connecticut. Congratulations! The images on your website are beautiful and accolades are well deserved. I love your unique style, composed using well-conceived focal points.
~Pat Lawrence 9/2010
Dramatic skies emerge shortly after a late day August thunderstorm cleared out over this lovely rustic barn and pastoral landscape in the scenic Litchfield Hills of northwestern Connecticut. This is one of my all-time best selling prints and is a fan favorite for so many reasons. This old barn has all the rustic character one comes to expect when visiting off the beaten path in rural southern New England.

Thom is a great partner to do business with!
I just wanted to say I've been working with Thom now for a couple of years on my companies corporate Holiday card projects. I am the project manager, and Thom has been very professional and courteous to work with. He has always worked his licensing contracts to meet our specific needs - and always beat the deadlines. I've had consecutive print runs of over 1,000 units that last two years, and the images are spectacular!~Wayne Daggett (Bettcher Ind.) 7/2010We LOVE the print!!
Thom, We absolutely love this historic old mill print in our home. We took your advice and purchased the UV protective museum glass. It was well worth the extra money. We look forward to speaking with you in the future. Thank you for all of your help.~ Darla W. Fort Wayne, In. 11/2010
Open Edition - Revolutionary era stamping mill is a historic remnant from yesteryear, tucked away in a remote region of Connecticut's scenic Litchfield Hills. This is a painterly image, well suited for our Wood FloatPlaqs, or our Gallery Board Display panels.
I should point out that if you are looking to find a great match and bundle a pair of prints, the artwork titled "Still Unbroken" is the same exact old mill, however, each piece was photographed from a unique perspective.
The Huge Print!
Hi Thom, gosh I'm so sorry for the delayed reply! Yes, we received the print last week - and love it! We're working on getting it framed now. We're very excited to get it up on the wall! Thanks again for your great customer service. We'll check out your website for any future purchases we might make when we move on to other rooms in our new home!
~Katelyn S. 02/2011I'm so glad we found you!
I am so glad we found your website, Thom. Thank you so much for the beautiful image. We hope to work with you often (at Coastal Connecticut magazine) I am pleased to announce your photo will be published as the center spread in our fall 2016 issue.~ Susan D. Art director, Coastal Connecticut Magazine 08/2016I cannot wait to present this gift!
WOW! It's even more beautiful than what I expected it to be. Thank you for your promptness and attention to my special order! I realize it was more of a "stock photo" but the location meant so much to me. (Chromaluxe metal print) ~ Cara L. 11/2012
I Received My 60" Wide Acrylic Print Yesterday!
Hi Thom, I wanted to let you know I received my 60" x 40" Acrylic Glass face-mounted piece yesterday of the Maroon Bells - and it's soooo beautiful! I'm blown away by the sharp details, especially the foreground and reflections off the surface of the water. The shipping container was a hoot to try and open, I believe it may truly be indestructible. As I told you in a previous email, I've looked at many "really notable" high-end photographers websites before I invested. Yours is unique, the lighting conditions, and the colors are vivid yet so REAL. It was a pleasure doing business with you. Thanks again.~ Don. P 04/2016
Limited Edition of 150
The Maroon Bells of Snowmass Colorado are without a doubt one of the most scenic grand landscapes in North America. I was quite fortunate to capture stunning crisp reflections and cherry sunrise alpenglow illuminating the 14,000 + foot peaks on an unusually calm early autumn morning.
A Fabulous Image - Transports me back to the Islands!
So Thom, I received the print delivery of "Pepe's Cafe" on Friday, safe and sound. (24x16") I was so excited to open the package, it's a fabulous photograph and it transports me right back to the islands! I am in appreciation of your talents, and the manner in which you expedited my order. Oh, and once again - I know you don't list the Canvas Prints option on your website, and I am so grateful that you accommodated me. I hope our paths cross again!~ James H. - Alpharetta Georgia
This painterly imagery depicts a vintage "Main Street USA" theme. Old Town is the historic district of Key West Florida, also known as the Conch Republic. I was captivated by the rustic charm and character contained within this section of Key West. When viewing the Pepe's Café artwork, you will notice the purposefully intended use of a subtly applied "texture layer" which enhances my unique vision and artistic inspiration of the scene - exactly as I experienced it.
This is one of my all-time best-selling artworks! I've received wonderful feedback from clients with regard to the painterly appearance of this unique artwork
Wanted to let you know I received the print - and had it framed.
Hey Thom, hope it's not too late tonight, but I wanted to let you know I did receive the "Rejuvenation" print and YES it's perfect in every way. We just LOVE the flowering Dogwood blooms against that rustic old barn! I decided on a rustic external frame style I purchased from Michael's and I had them professionally mount the print, per your guidance. I'm not crazy about using a mat, I like just the frame it blends really nice with the artwork. The 36" print size was perfect too. I'm glad we didn't go smaller. We really like it! Thanks again!~ Mike D. Brooklyn NY.
Juxtaposition of flowering Dogwood blooms against the rough texture of weathered barnboard siding. This is a popular selling print.
The Artwork is Stunning! Hi Thom, the package arrived and the artwork is stunning! Everything from the checkout procedure (shopping cart) to the order updates and communications you've provided, right to the final product was amazing! Thank you!~ Kristen C. Scotts Valley, California
Some of the Best RMNP Colorado images we've ever seen, including the Estes Park Art Galleries!
My wife and I couldn't pass on the photographs, Thom. This past summer our entire family hiked to Emerald Lake- it was a wonderful experience and now we have your artwork on display in our home to remember our excursion. You have a great story behind the Bear Lake Overlook artwork, and that image captures how amazing Colorado's Rockies are! (2) 45 x 30" prints~ Peter C. and family. Glenview, Illinois 07/2016

The Acadia Rocky Beach Print is Beautiful.
Thanks, Thom for keeping me informed during the entire order and delivery process. Yes, the acrylic print arrived and it is everything we expected, you said, and then some. The details and colors are spectacular, it's so awesome to see people just stare into this print. We had it installed in our En Suite, the acrylic medium is definitely able to handle the higher humidity~ Judy M. | Fairfield, Ca. Artwork titled: Beach Pebbles in 24x16" face-mounted acrylic
Soaked pebbles scattered about Little Hunters Beach along the rocky coast of Acadia National Park, Maine
Can't wait to gift this beautiful print to my husband!
The package arrived yesterday and it was in perfect condition. It looks amazing. I can't wait for him to open this when I present it. Thank you for working with me and recommending a print medium I could fit into my budget that you normally don't offer on your site, being it was an Open Edition. ~ Lorraine G. Colton, NY
Just received the most recent (2) prints! Absolutely Beautiful. Thanks a lot, I'll be enjoying all 3 of these in my office every day. Enjoy your travels to NY, love your images from Times Square. I walk these streets daily.

I've Admired your Works for years!
I feel so fortunate right now to have the opportunity to finally purchase your art. I connect SO MUCH with your intentional eye for the landscape, charm, splendor, and historic presence of New England. Your imagery will bring all this familiarity into our cozy Colorado home. It's one of the ways I can revisit and reflect upon the land I've explored and felt so personally connected to. Thanks again, all the best. Linda~ Linda R. Colorado - Aug/2019 (procured 5 - 18x12" mounted prints on Gallery Board Mounts)
I couldn't have dreamed up a moodier, dreamy atmosphere in which to capture the essence of this quintessential New England landscape. A chilly, damp October morning produced a light, ethereal mist. Mist and fog are mother natures most amazing filters, and the diffused light creates more vibrancy in the autumn palette. The historic covered bridge, located in New Hampshire's picturesque Franconia Notch spans the Pemigewasset River. You Have Been Great to Work With!
We love your work, and more orders to come for our own personal home!~ Bill and Emily H. Dania Beach, Fla. (Purchased 8 - 30x20" Open Edition prints on Gallery Board Mounts) August, 2019Thom, the print (Weston Vt. Grist Mill) arrived today and it is LOVELY!
We are going to install it (over the fireplace) this weekend! Thanks for all of the updates, and for getting back to me so quickly. This is a true statement piece.~ Hollis D. Westlake Ohio 45 x 30" Fine-Art print behind Acrylic Glass Sept, 2019

This classic old Grist Mill dates back to 1780. It rest in a peaceful quaint setting along the West River in the quintessential village of Weston, Vermont. This is one of my most popular artworks in the Rustics collection.
It is a lovely photograph!
Order arrived, so happy! I have it installed already in my living room. Also, thank you so much for your follow-ups and for keeping me informed. I was so nervous about placing the order and the delivery process. I really do love this piece. ~ Christie K. Oct. 19, 2019 30x20" printOH boy, it's here!
Thom, you showcase several of our favorite National parks, and have piqued our interest in some we haven’t been to yet - thank you so much! That is SO crazy about Glacier! I am certain we were there the same week! So, finally, we have picked out our frames. We totally love the prints. You stand behind your work 100% and make good on your word, thank you so much!~ Heather S. Ambler, PA. (5) 18x12" photo prints Jan./2020
Hi Thomas, thanks so much, and happy New Year!
The first prints we ordered arrived and they look fantastic. Please, let's go ahead and order (2) more, same size 24x16". They will need to drop-ship to the framers here in Maine again.~ Lydia L. (Gallery owner) Waterville, Maine (4) 24x16" prints on photo paper Jan. 08, 2020
One of the Adirondack's most picturesque waterfalls. This is a double-tiered cascade with a combined drop of 46 feet. The overcast, misty conditions diffused the early morning October light so beautifully, which allowed for a 6-second exposure. The yellows, orange, and gold foliage complimented this scene so beautifully. If you love New York's Adirondack wilderness, I think you'll love inviting this fine art imagery into your home.
We love it!
Hi Thom, glad we went with the 36x24" acrylic! (our 2nd Print order from you) It's perfect, we have it (Avalanche Creek, Glacier National Park) installed in our powder room.~ Hollis D. Westlake, Ohio. (repeat client) 36x24" acrylic print Feb./2020
The deep Turquois color of Avalanche Creek is just surreal, especially juxtaposed to the vibrant emerald greens and deep reds of the gorge walls.
I am extremely pleased with the print! Hi Thom, just wanted to let you know that I received the Aluma-Mount print a couple of days ago and I am extremely pleased with it! I am a meteorologist, so the double rainbows and stormy clouds really appeal to me.~ Ernest McKintyre May/2020 (24x12" Limited Edition)
LIMITED EDITION of 150
The late afternoon summer storms were building and I knew I had to get myself into position at a great location. I knew being in Glacier National Park this had the potential to be epic. I was already nearer the west side, so I decided to head to Lake McDonald and try my luck. It turned out to be a sensational show of natures fury. As the storm passed by and the sky began to open up, I was treated to a colorful double rainbow with some awe-inspiring storm clouds over the mountains.
The Horseshoe Bend print looks great!
Thank you again, Thom. I received the print just today and it looks great!~ Wendy Turner | May/2020 30x20" Photo Print on Fuji-Chrystal pearl paper
LIMITED EDITION OF 150 - A gorgeous sunset at the Horseshoe Bend of the Colorado River near Page Arizona. Many regard this as the official gateway of the Grand Canyon despite the fact it is technically still part of Glen Canyon. This is one of the most dramatic natural landscape scenes in the great American Southwest.
Thomas Schoellers photography is absolutely amazing
He has so many wonderful shots, and certainly has a way of bringing the landscape to life! I recently purchased two pieces of fine art from Thom, the Flume Covered Bridge and The Albany Covered Bridge, 30 x 20, Acrylic Museum Float, and had these shipped internationally to my home in Melbourne, Australia. The whole experience, from considering the various pieces to purchasing, international shipping, and delivery was seamless, and one of the best customer service experiences I’ve encountered. Right from my initial queries Thom’s service was exceptional, he is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his work, and his advice was very helpful. He promptly responded to all of my various questions, and nothing was ever too much trouble for Thom.
I had some reservations about the shipping process, having not previously ordered fine art internationally, however, the shipping and delivery process was seamless, all on schedule and without any problem whatsoever, as Thom promised! I’d highly recommend Thom if you are looking for an exceptionally talented photographer, who prides himself on genuine quality customer service, which is refreshing in 2020. (We passed over the famous Australian photographer Peter Lik in favor of Thom) My family and I are fortunate to have purchased two pieces of fine art that elicit such a strong emotional connection after spending time~ Adam Y. | Melbourne, Australia June/2020 (2) 30x20" acrylic mounted prints
Early morning sunlight bathes the brilliant canopy of foliage enveloping the rustic Albany Covered bridge in New Hampshire's beautiful White Mountains. I licensed this image to the world-famous White Mountain Puzzles, Inc. jigsaw puzzle company for several years to make tens of thousands of 1000pc puzzles.
Images of Country life
Thom I love the rustic character and feel of country life that your images capture. I currently live in a big city right now, but once lived in the rural country. I really miss that bond with nature. I'm a big fan of your work! Your artwork reconnects me back to the days "When Times Were Simpler" ~ Jim Clifford | March/2021
LIMITED EDITION of 150
Bucolic scenery like this is becoming more and more scarce every day. It is my passion to capture beautiful imagery that transports the viewer back to "Simpler Times" depicting rural life in small New England communities.
We got it today and it’s beautiful!
We are leaving town but can’t wait to hang it when we get back this weekend! Thank you! My husband is from Port Angeles, Washington and selected it. His mom has a little place on a small lake (Lake Sutherland) near lake crescent. We looked at that Lake Crescent photo too but colors of the Mt. Rainer photo (King of The Cascades) were better for the space it's being installed. If you ever shoot Lake Sutherland, let me know!

There's never a guarantee that you'll get perfect conditions when photographing nature landscapes in the Pacific Northwest. On this magnificent morning, I was blessed to be so fortunate! After a breathtaking hike through beautiful meadows and mixed forest, the awe-inspiring presence of Rainier appeared.
Hello! Print arrived -
and it’s damage free! It looks great, now time to hang it. The piece came shipped very secure and sealed in a wooden crate, along with hardware and instructions to hang with a very sturdy aluminum backing.
Francis B. Hurricane, Utah. 54"x36" Aluma-Mount Oct/2021
LIMITED EDITION of 150
Getting into place to photograph this awe-inspiring scene featuring the 7,285' Mt Kinesava was quite the adventure. The access was difficult, however capturing this beautiful Utah scenic view over Gooseberry Mesa is uncommon making the ordeal worth it. I was rewarded for my patience as it seemed the sunset would never develop. At the last moment, the sun cast some rays of soft warm light on the desert landscape.
The print arrived today!
It looks even better in person thank you so much. We look forward forward to purchasing more of your art in the future. Thanks again, Tom
Tom S. Mar/2022 54"x36" Aluma-Mount
This may be the most iconic natural landmark in Zion National Park, and worthy of all the attention it gets. It's widely considered to be one of Zion's most amazing and dramatic prizes. I photographed the scene during the first week of November as the Cottonwood foliage along the Virgin River was turning a brilliant yellow. The rosy glow of sunset illuminated the 6,545' sandstone summit, a fantastic encore to an amazing day.
The Artwork Arrived, now at the framers
Great piece, very happy. If I were wealthy I’d buy a new one each month. Outstanding customer service, appreciate the proactive thoughtfulness you've provided. I'm happy to be a reference for you. And I'll be back this year for more, building a home in NH and will need some more of your work on the walls!

A striking October sunrise in western New Hampshire reveals blazing autumn colors on the flanks of massive Mt. Moosilaukee, and are reflected off the calm mirrorlike surface of Beaver Pond. This region is a pristine wilderness, the pond (also known as Kinsman's Pond) has several small islands and is the headwaters of the Wild Ammonoosuc River.
